📌 Global Poker spells out more state blocks and adds poker specific conduct bans
Global Poker’s latest terms update, effective February 2, 2026, puts a spotlight on tightening up geographic control and making sure fair play is being followed at the tables.
🚫 List of banned states grew
As of February 2, 2026, the list of U.S. states that are now banned grew to a total of 14: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia.
🃏 New poker integrity rule: chip dumping is explicitly banned
The sweepstakes poker section of the Participation section now says that you cannot intentionally lose chips to help another player or receive chips through chip dumping.
