Terms of Use Update (Version 4.0.10)
📌 What Changed in Funzpoints v4.0.10
This version sharpens the edges across user verification, payment handling, and dispute resolution — and sets new expectations around access, identity, and behavior.
State Restrictions Got Sharper
- The list of blocked U.S. states just grew. If you’re in Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Maryland, Montana, New Jersey, New York, or Nevada — the door’s shut. No play, no purchases, no sweepstakes.
You Now Play Under Tighter ID Rules
- Email must be verified before you can redeem.
Dwolla Handles the Money Now
- Payouts now run through Dwolla. You’ll have to authorize them, and some personal info goes with that. Their privacy policy is now baked into the terms.
No More Double Screens
- Try logging in on two devices? One gets kicked. Your session only runs in one place at a time now.
New Reasons to Get Booted
There are more reasons to lose your account:
- Display name crosses the line?
- You blow up support with threats or spam?
- You file a chargeback or try to stack accounts?
They’ll shut things down — and it’s not a soft reset.
Hard Stop on Hacking and Workarounds
- Fake documents? Malicious tools? Scripts or exploits? All now spelled out — and tied to permanent bans and, in some cases, legal follow-up.
Disputes Go One Way Only
- Arbitration’s now baked in. You’ve got 30 days to opt out. It’s one-on-one arbitration only, no class actions. And if your claim’s older than a year, you’re out of time.
Force Majeure Now Active
- If something major disrupts operations — like a flood, war, or regulatory crackdown — Funzpoints can pause or cut service. This wasn’t in the old terms.
California Gets Its Own Section
The new terms close with a dedicated California rights disclosure, tied to Civil Code §1789.3. That’s now part of the standard layout.
