📌 What’s Different in Chumba 18.0
Arbitration Moves Into the Spotlight
Clause 24 isn’t buried anymore.
It now leads the legal section with a detailed breakdown of how disputes get handled. If multiple users bring claims together, those cases get sorted under JAMS mass arbitration rules. For disputes involving $500,000 or more, there’s now a way to request a three-person panel. You can still opt out — but the window is short, and the process is more exact.
Refunds From Blocked States Now Have a Price
Clause 3.2 spells out something new:
If you buy Gold Coins from states where Chumba.com doesn’t allow it—like Washington, Nevada, or Connecticut — you’ll get your money back, but not all of it. A 10% admin fee may be subtracted, along with any banking costs.
Florida Wins Capped at $5K
Clause 8.3 adds a limit for Florida sweepstakes players.
If a single spin lands you more than $5,000, Chumba will lower the payout to that number. That’s now a hard ceiling.
You Now Need SC 100 to Cash Out
Clause 8.2 confirms the minimum amount for redeeming.
If your Sweeps Coins balance is under SC 100, you won’t be able to cash out.
Sweeps Coins Expire if You Go Inactive
Clause 8.22 says that if you don’t log in for 60 days, your coin balance starts to vanish. There’s no grace period beyond that.
Identity Checks Now Triggered at $2,000
Clause 9 sets a new line:
Once your total redemptions reach $2,000—whether in one go or added up over time—you’ll be asked to submit documents. That includes proof of identity, address, and where the funds came from. You have 30 days to respond. Don’t send them in? Your account may be closed.
